Hey!
Glad you're here.
Oh hi!
I'm Tiffany, a therapist, writer, researcher, activist, professor, wife, and mom. I am a busy woman! I love everything I do. I wanted to be a counselor after my first year as a third grade teacher when I had a student who needed emotional support and I didn't know what to say. I quickly realized I enjoyed the social/emotional learning part of teaching more than teaching my fun math songs about fractions! (Wanna hear one? Just ask).
Almost 16 years later, I'm a therapist who's seen it all. I've seen the little ones all the way to elderly adults. I really love somatic work and helping clients connect to their bodies and recreating it as a safe space after trauma. And I still love working with all the ages and stages! Let's do the work together!

FUN FACTS

-
I'm proudly biracial and queer!
-
I LOVE funky accessories! You will always catch me wearing unique earrings, glasses, and shoes!

-
I am a born and raised Texan! We moved in May of 2023 to provide a more diverse, cultured, and inclusive environment for our kids
-
I was raised hard core charismatic Evangelical Christian and am a religious trauma survivor. I learned the world is wider than the hate I was taught and opened my mind up in college and graduate school. Now I help other religious trauma survivors find liberation in the way that best fits them.

-
I still own a therapy practice in Texas that is focused on reproductive mental health and provides equity based and accessible services across the state
-
I am big into political activism through protest, writing, TikTok, and educating others in my life. Now more than ever it's important for us to make "good trouble" as John Lewis said.

I'm a children's author! I started writing last year after my kids started asking really big questions and I couldn't find supportive books to help foster our discussions. If you want change, be the change, right?
